Lyke as a ship that through the ocean wyde,<\/p>\n

By conduct of some star doth make her way,<\/p>\n

Whenas a storme hath dimd her trusty guyde,<\/p>\n

Out if her course doth wander far astray.<\/p>\n

So I whose star, that wont with her bright ray,<\/p>\n

Me to direct, with cloudes is overcast,<\/p>\n

Doe wander now in darkness and dismay,<\/p>\n

Through hidden perils round about me plast.<\/p>\n

Yet hope I well, that when this storm is past<\/p>\n

My Helice, the lodestar of my lyfe<\/p>\n

Will shine again, and looke on me at last,<\/p>\n

With lovely light to cleare my cloudy grief.<\/p>\n

Till then I wander carefull comfortlesse,<\/p>\n
